‘Tahuahua Bay’

By Hugo Molloy (he/him)

Each of the following images were taken from a slightly different perspective, at a different time of day and different time of year.

My family has had this spot in the Marlborough Sounds for over 30 years and I go down whenever I can. Each time I’m there, I find myself taking this same photo.

I’ve taken these images over the years, all on separate occasions - but I’ve never compiled them. The ‘Sequels’ issue of Debate inspired me to look at them as a whole and I am really pleased with the result. So here they are. All together, unedited, much like the view at the time. It is really amazing to think about how many different skies, storms and sunsets that place has seen.
